Screw-Type Hydraulic Press: Safety Techniques and Maintenance

1) All oil cups and oil eyes must be greased at least once daily (using calcium-sodium base grease).
2) The gear oil used in the reduction gearbox should be filtered or replaced during each scheduled major overhaul, in addition to the 20–30 kg added during test runs.
3) The press plate and screw shaft components are scheduled for maintenance once a month. During maintenance, any oil residue must be removed, and the parts should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. If cracks or other damage are found in the screw or sealing rings, they must be repaired or replaced immediately. (Additionally, if the machine is shut down for an extended period, a maintenance check must be performed before restarting.)
4) The entire oil press machine typically requires a major overhaul every 6 months. During the overhaul, it must be completely disassembled for cleaning and inspection; if any damage is found, repairs or replacements will be necessary.
5) A suitable protective guard should be installed at the point where the main motor's V-belt rotates.
