The U.S. Department of Agriculture in The “World Agricultural Supply and Demand Outlook Report” released in January ( In the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, the forecast for U.S. soybean crushing volume for the 2025/26 marketing year was raised by 15 million bushels to 2.57 billion bushels (69.9428 million tons), citing increased consumption and exports of soybean meal. At the same time, the agency lowered its projection for biodiesel demand for soybean oil, as more renewable diesel feedstock is now sourced from tallow.
