Scope of application

The double-helix pre-pressing and expansion integrated machine consists of components such as a variable-speed gearbox, a conditioning box, an expansion chamber, a pressing chamber, an expansion screw, a pressing screw, a feeding device, and a base. After cleaning and conditioning, the oil-bearing material is fed into the pressing chamber via a feeding screw, where it undergoes crushing and oil extraction under the combined action of screw compression and shear forces. The processed material then moves into the expansion chamber for expansion and shaping, transforming the traditionally pressed cake into expanded granules.
This machine is suitable for pre-pressing and expanding oil extraction processes under high, moderate, and low-temperature conditions; it is widely applicable to the pre-pressing and expansion of vegetable oilseeds such as soybeans, rapeseed, cottonseed, sunflower seeds, peanut kernels, and corn germ.

Performance Features

Arrange the oil-extraction screw and the expansion screw on the same main shaft, with the pre-extraction chamber and the expansion chamber positioned directly adjacent to each other, enabling both pre-extraction and expansion to be completed in a single machine.
The variable-speed gears of the double-helix oil press and the two synchronous transmission gears are housed within a single gearbox, reducing the machine’s overall length while enhancing its concentricity and structural strength—resulting in equipment life being extended by more than 1.5 times.
By changing the two-hole press chamber to a three-hole design, with the two front holes featuring interlocking upper and lower spirals, we’ve significantly enhanced the crushing capacity, making it easier to pre-press large volumes of oilseeds efficiently.
Installing water or steam nozzles in the filter-drying section of the twin-screw press chamber allows for precise temperature control of the cake, preventing scorching while also helping to reduce residual oil content.
Taking corn germ processing as an example, processes such as crushing, rolling, and steaming-roasting can be eliminated, resulting in a 50% reduction in equipment investment, a 40% decrease in electricity consumption, and a 60% reduction in coal usage—thereby minimizing the environmental impact of oil processing.
