Tianxing Puffing Machine Manufacturing Factory is a professional manufacturer of various types of grain and oil puffing machinery. The TXP-160 oilseed puffing machine is the latest successfully developed grain and oil puffing machinery equipment, suitable for oil mills, rice mills, soy protein mills and feed mills, etc. This machine has a high output and low power consumption. It can puffed up materials such as rice bran, soybeans, corn, rice flour and feed. Expanded rice bran can be preserved for more than two months, the production capacity of the extractor is increased by 30% to 45%, the residual oil content of dry meal is less than 1%, and the protein content and color of bran meal are both superior to those of granulation, drying and leaching. Expanded soybeans can remove fishy smell, inactivate urease, increase the production capacity of the leaching device by 45 to 50%, and the residual oil content of dry meal is less than 0.8%. The protein content and color of soybean meal are significantly better than those extracted by drying.

 

Puffing Principle

This machine utilizes the squeezing, friction, and shearing actions of an unequal-distance helical extrusion system to convert mechanical energy into thermal energy, creating specific pressure and temperature conditions within the expansion chamber. The material is then extruded through the die, resulting in expanded and shaped products.

 

Application Features

Application in oil Plants (Compatible with oil plants with a capacity of over 15 tons per day)
The crude oil produced by the puffing and leaching process has a light color, low acid value and low moisture content, and is easy to be made into various grades of high-grade edible oil. Moreover, due to the increase in the volumetric density of the material after puffing, the production capacity of the extractor can be enhanced by 40 to 55%, and the residual oil rate of dry meal is below 1%.
1. Process flow of rice bran puffing and leaching for oil production:
Rice bran → Cleaning → puffing and shaping in a puffing machine for preservation → leaching for oil production.
The stable rice bran that has undergone puffing treatment has an acid value about 3mgKOH/g of oil less than that of untreated rice bran, and its acid value increases by an average of about 1mgKOH/g of oil after being stored for one month.
2. Process flow of soybean puffing and leaching for oil production
Soybeans → Cleaning → Softening → Rolling into dough (0.5mm thick) → puffing in a puffing machine → leaching.
Soybean puffing and leaching can be divided into two processes: soybean crushing puffing and leaching and soybean rolling puffing and leaching. The former can reduce equipment investment and maintenance costs. The latter can increase the thickness of the embryo to 0.5 to 0.6mm, enhancing the processing capacity of the rolling embryo.
● Application in Soy protein Plants
Soybeans → Cleaning → Softening → Rolling → puffing, deodorizing and inactivating urease → degreasing → preparation of various soy proteins.
The urease activity index UA of soybeans after expansion is less than 0.4.
● Process flow applied in rice mills (compatible with rice mills with a capacity of over 200 tons per day)
Raw grains → Cleaning → husking → separation of bran and rice → rice milling → rice bran → puffing and shaping for preservation → finished product stabilization of bran → packaging → sent to the oil refining workshop or feed workshop.
● Compatible with applications in feed mills
Soybeans → Crushing → puffing, deodorizing and ripening → preparation of formula feed.
In the above applications of this machine, according to various different extrusion processing requirements, the temperature is within the range of 80 to 140℃ and the pressure is within the range of 2 to 4 atmospheres. This can be achieved by replacing the discharge die head and adjusting the distance between the die head and the extrusion head. The material after puffing treatment can be dehydrated by 3 to 5%.
